NEIS became involved with privatization in the late 1970's when it first
began performing inspections for code-enforcing agencies. Since that time, NEIS has become
the exclusive agent for numerous jurisdictions to perform plan reviews, construction visits,
acceptance inspections, semi-annual inspections and witnessing of safety tests.

NEIS is fully insured to include $2 million general liability and
$1 million professional liability and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates are
available upon request.
