All field personnel are required to maintain a minimum of one
elevator inspector's certification involving written examinations for employment with
NEIS. Training and testing for additional certification/licenses is mandatory.
The ASME-QEI Certification, which is the standard for the industry, requires an annual written exam to maintain QEI status. In addition, every QEI Certified Inspector is required to attend a minimum of one workshop/seminar every year. |
