National Elevator Inspection Services (NEIS) was established in 1967
as an Ohio company to perform highly specialized elevator inspection services. Most of its
original clients were insurance companies seeking impartial elevator inspections on behalf
of their policyholders.
NEIS rapidly developed into the largest elevator inspection service company in the United States. NEIS now handles these important assignments in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Nova Scotia.
